Issy has specialised as a musculoskeletal outpatient physiotherapist and has many years of experience working across the NHS and private practice, treating both amateur and elite athletes. She is based in Innerleithen, near Peebles, within easy reach of Galashiels, West Linton and Penicuik.
Drawing on her extensive clinical experience, Issy has developed an advanced skill set in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance optimisation. She also offers rider-specific assessments to identify areas of weakness, movement dysfunction, or performance limitations that may be affecting comfort, balance, and effectiveness in the saddle.
To provide the best possible care, Issy has completed additional postgraduate training in acupuncture, sports massage, and women's health physiotherapy. These specialist skills can be incorporated into your treatment and rehabilitation programme where appropriate, helping to support recovery, improve performance, and reduce the risk of future injury.
